Contact: office@huttonparish.com

Autumn Churchyard Clear Up Day at All Saints

There is to be an autumn clear up of All Saints’ churchyard on Saturday 19th October between 10am and 12noon.  Some of the RAFAC (Royal Airforce Air Cadets) will be there to assist and any help from parishioners from either church would be most welcome.  Please bring your own gardening gloves.  There will be some tools but bring your own too if you like.  Refreshments at 11am.

Poppy Appeal 2024

School Admissions - Church attendance:

If you are considering applications to either Becket Keys Secondary School or Hutton All Saints School in the next few years, or any other school application which will need Fr Andy to sign a Supplementary Information Form to verify your church attendance, please can you email:  andy@huttonparish.com  to let him know.  Requirements for Hutton All Saints are listed as monthly attendance over 1 year.

Other schools vary but some require twice monthly attendance for 2 years.

In all cases, we strongly encourage parents to make themselves known to clergy and others in the church and to get involved in the life of the church where possible, so that when the time comes for forms to be signed, it does not cause any embarrassment on either side.

Baptisms – 27th October

We will be having a baptism service on 27th October at St Peter’s and All Saint’s. If you are interested, please e-mail Fr Andy: andy@huttonparish.com

Confirmation - November 2024

Confirmation is an opportunity for those who have been baptised to publicly 'confirm' their faith and take their next steps in following Jesus. At a confirmation service, you affirm those promises, in the presence of friends, family and the wider Christian community and the Bishop lays their hands on you to ask God's Holy Spirit to fill you with strength and joy to walk in this way for the rest of your life.

If you would like to be part of the preparation classes during October and November for a service at the Cathedral in late November, or have any other questions about baptism and confirmation this year, please contact Fr Andy: andy@huttonparish.com by Monday 23rd September.
