This Wednesday, 19th February, will be the last session of our Wednesday evening Bible Studies before Easter. From 12th March to 23rd of April the Parish will be holding a Lent Course on Wednesday evenings. All are welcome – see our Lent Course poster for more information and for the booking link. Bible study on Mondays will continue as usual.

Electoral roll

Our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) will take place at St Peter’s church on 27th April. at 11am. Please put this date in your diary and please attend, if you possibly can.

This year the law requires that the electoral roll is completely renewed. I hereby give notice of that renewal.

The new roll was opened to join from 9th February. Hard copies of the form will be available in both St Peter’s and All Saints. Once you have filled in the forms, please hand them to a church warden or directly to the parish office. You will have until 30th March to join the new electoral roll. Please ensure you do, so that you can vote at the APCM.

Should you require any further information on this matter please speak to a church warden or contact Christine Bennet (Electoral Roll Officer) on 01277 212801/ christine3318@btinternet.com

First Holy Communion and Confirmation preparation 2025

We offer First Holy Communions on Easter Sunday (20th April 2025 this year) and there is likely to be a Confirmation service in the Deanery in the summer term. We're now inviting expressions of interest from:

  • Children who are in Year 3 or above and regularly join us for worship in either Church, who wish to be prepared to receive Holy Communion this Easter.

  • Adults who do not currently receive Holy Communion on a Sunday and are regular worshippers with us in either Church, who wish to be prepared to receive this Easter and/or consider Confirmation later in the year. (Confirmation is open to young people age 11+/in Year 6 or above)

There will be some preparation sessions throughout Lent and adults are encouraged to join the Lent Course on Wednesday evenings as part of their exploration.

If any of this applies to you or you have any further questions about Holy Communion, Confirmation or Baptism, please be in touch with Revd Alice in the first instance: aliemismi@gmail.com
