CHURCHES TOGETHER IN HUTTON & SHENFIELD
Walk of Witness - Good Friday 18th April 2025 Assemble at HSUC at 9.00 am on 18th April starting the walk at 9.15 amAnyone can join the walk at any point. There will be a rendezvous or near the doctors' surgery in Mount Avenue for those who are unable to make the walk down the hill from the Church.
We will gather for a reflection and meditation given by Rev Alex Newens, HSUC, with prayers and song in the high street in front of the Indian restaurant just up from the station.Hymns - When I survey the Wondrous Cross - - There is a Redeemer. (song sheets will be distributed) The walk will then continue to the top of the high street returning to the Church via Priests Lane and the Woodway bridge where refreshments - tea, coffee and hot cross buns will be served. At 11am the church will be set up with prayer & meditation stations for people to visit and use in their own way.
