Some of the RAFAC (Royal Airforce Air Cadets) will be there to assist and any help from parishioners from either church would be most welcome. Please bring your own gardening gloves. School Admissions - Church attendance:
If you are considering applications to either Becket Keys Secondary School or Hutton All Saints School in the next few years, or any other school application which will need Fr Andy to sign a Supplementary Information Form to verify your church attendance, please can you email: andy@huttonparish.com to let him know. Requirements for Hutton All Saints are listed as monthly attendance over 1 year.
Other schools vary but some require twice monthly attendance for 2 years.
In all cases, we strongly encourage parents to make themselves known to clergy and others in the church and to get involved in the life of the church where possible, so that when the time comes for forms to be signed, it does not cause any embarrassment on either side.
Join the Team at St Peter’s!
We are looking for volunteers to join our “Welcome Team”, helping to host those who come to our Sunday services. Contact Dawn Shaxon for more information and to sign up to volunteer: shaxondawn@gmail.com
Baptisms – Sunday 27th October
We will be holding a service of Baptism in both churches on Sunday 27th October - and would be glad to hear from anyone else - adult, child or teen! - who would like to be baptised too! Please speak to Revd Alice or Father Andy: as soon as possible so that preparation can be arranged.
Confirmations – 24th November
We have a number of candidates wishing to be confirmed at Chelmsford Cathedral on 24th November at 3.30pm - which is very exciting!
Confirmation Preparation for adults will take place on Tuesday evenings: 5th, 12th and 19th November 7.30pm at The Rectory.
Confirmation Preparation for young people will take place on Sundays during the 9.30am service: 13th, 20th October & 17th November in the Chapel.
